There is an opinion that the sphere of higher education in its classical model is outdated and requires thorough transformation; universities are not a guarantee of a successful career any more, since business creates its own educational platforms, technologies are rapidly developing, and new professions are emerging. Does this statement question the relevance of higher education in its classical form? Is it necessary for today's high school graduates to enter the university? Are there alternative ways giving them more chances for professional success in the changing world? What is the intellectual and business model of the University of the Future? 

The Global Pandemic and quarantine restrictions in most countries issued a challenge to the education system and forced the acceleration of changes.

It’s time for a comprehensive understanding of what has happened in the global education system, as well as forecasts of dramatic short- and long-term changes.

Why is it so important to study and discuss successful ‘force majeure’ cases of universities and educational institutions worldwide? 

We have to accept a new reality - we are talking about a complete change of the education model, which should take into account new forms and create a balance between innovations and classical formats. What is the reasonable combination of classical approach and digital forms? 

Nowadays safety is an imperative and one of the main effectiveness criteria of educational institutions. How can we provide safety during the pandemic and not to reduce the pace and quality of the educational process? 

Global crises have dramatic social consequences. The world faces a ‘disaster of generations’ and thus reactivation of normal education process is the priority. It is vital to understand the importance of human capital investment. Should education become the priority for financing worldwide? 

These and a many other questions will be addressed at this event.
